MaryAnn Marino, 80, of Weirton, passed away Monday, September 13, 2010 in the Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. Born November 17, 1929 in Dearborn, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late William Blair and Mary E. Hopkins Maxwell. Mrs. Marino was a homemaker who loved her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and 3-Score Seniors. MaryAnn is survived by her husband Nat "Sonny" Marino of Weirton, whom she married June 6, 1952; daughters Mary Susan Slowikowski and her husband Robert and JoAnn Varner; son William Michael Marino and his wife Becky all of Weirton; brother William Blair Maxwell, Jr. of Lillian, AL; sister Margaret "Peggy" Ewing of Wheeling, WV and 4 grandchildren John Slowikowski, Shannon Varner, Cathy Slowikowski and Kaitlin Kraina and her husband Joe. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 12:00PM Thursday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church with Reverend Father Larry Dorsch officiating. Entombment will be in St. Paul Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 140 Walnut Street, Weirton, WV 26062.
