Matilda M. Larch, 88, of New Cumberland, WV, formerly of Weirton, WV, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in Life Line Hospital in Steubenville, OH.
Born April 3, 1928, in Holidays Cove, WV, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary (Mehallick) Billcheck. She is also preceded in death by her husband William A. Larch, Sr., son Richard Brill, brothers Rudy and Mike Billcheck and sister Margaret Jellots.
Matilda was a homemaker who cherished her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church and the Altar Society.
She is survived by her sons William Larch, Jr. of New Cumberland and Mike (Deborah) Larch of Weirton; daughter Karen (Mark) Wansack of Weirton; grandchildren Jackie Brill, Michaelene and William Larch, George, John, Matthew and Mary Wansack.
Visitation will be held Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 PM at Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV where Parastas services will be held Sunday evening at 6:00 PM. Final blessing will be held Monday at 9:30 AM in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church with Father Vasyl Symyon officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church memorial building fund, 3116 Elm Street, Weriton, WV.
