
Maxine E. Frye Stemen

Maxine E. Frye Stemen, 72, of Bryan, Ohio, formerly of Weirton, died Thursday, April 3, 2003. She was born April 30, 1930 in Nutter Fort, WV, daughter of the late Clarence Guy and Nancy Rose Carpenter Cox. Maxine was preceded in death by her first husband, James E. Frye, Sr. February 27, 1995.
Maxine was a homemaker and a member of the Weirton Alliance Church.
She is survived by her husband Wilbur L. Stemen of Bryan, Ohio; son James E. Frye, Jr. and his wife Jan of Beech Bottom, WV; daughters Pamela Stiles and her husband Tom of New Cumberland, Debi Jones and her husband Joe of Orlando, FL, Deena Gleisberg of Weirton and Marlene Medieros, and her husband Dennis of San Antonio, TX; step sons Denny Stemen and his wife Mary of Bryan, OH, Trenten Stemen and his wife Colleen and Gary Stemen and his wife Terri all of Painesville, OH; brother Bill Cox and his wife Barb of Lost Creek, WV and sisters Buna Wolfe and her husband Raymond of Lubbock, TX and Doris Sach of Amarillo, TX. Maxine also has 18 grandchildren and step grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday, April 4 at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday.
Pastor H. R. Draa will Preside
Entombment will follow at Saint Paul Mausoleum.
