Michael James Boyles

Michael James Boyles, 38, of Weirton died Sunday June 3, 2001 at the Weirton Medical Center. He was born July 18, 1962 in Weirton, WV the son of James L. Boyles of Weirton and Thelma Monseau Boyles of Weirton. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leon and Elsie Monseau, and paternal grandparents Amy and Alice Boyles. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Jaimie Diane Boyles.
Michael was employed at Hydro Chemical as an operator and a former driver of Weir Cove Trucking. He was a member of Weirton Moose and VFW. Michael was a US Navy Veteran serving 2 tours of duty in Lebanon and participated in the invasion of Granada. Michael served aboard the Fort USS Snelling and ended his tour of duty as an aide to the 6th fleet Commander Admiral McDonald.
He is survived by his parents, his wife, Tammy Lunger Boyles, one daughter: Alisia Boyles, of Weirton, 3 stepdaughters: Shannon, Christine, and Bonni, one brother: Patrick of Weirton, two sisters: Theresa Monseau, and Mrs. Mike (Colleen) Cervenak both of Weirton, numerous nieces and nephews, and one step-granddaughter.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 7-9 PM at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.
Funeral and military graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Mike was a very dear friend of mine. He always listened when I needed someone to. He will truly be missed by me.
