Michael V. Plance
March 10, 1947 ~ July 4, 2005
Michael V. Plance 58 of Steubenville, Ohio passed away July 4, 2005 at his residence. He was born March 10, 1947 in Steubenville, Ohio the son of the Dorothy Ewasky Plance of Sharon, PA and the late George Plance.
Michael retired from the Weirton Steel Company with 32 years of service. He worked in the BOP continuous cast as a mould operator. He was a member of the 25 year club of WSX, Weirton Memorial Baptist Church and he served his country in the US Army during the Viet Nam War.
He is survived by his devoted nephew with whom he made his home Gregory C. Anderson of Steubenville, Ohio; his son Shawn Michael Plance and his wife Kimberly and children of Pennsboro, WV; brothers, George Plance and his wife Mary of Gainesville, FL, Arthur Plance and his wife Kimberly of Bloomingdale, OH; sisters, Frances Sloan of Sharon, PA, Roberta J. Porterfield and her husband Robert of Sharon, PA and Edna M. Davis and her husband Dennis of Andover, OH; and his special friend Emma Kinder of Weirton, WV.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, 2005, from 2-4 and 7-8:30PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV. Funeral services conducted by Rev. William Stout will be Wednesday evening at 8:30PM in the funeral home.

Dear Plance family, My most heart felt sympathies to your family at this time. Though it is a terrible loss, he is in a far better place now. Just remember all the happy times and keep them in your heart. May God be with you during your time of sorrow. Please take care & know your in my prayers.
I was so very sorry to hear about Michael. I was in Virginia and just heard about it. Michael was a wonderful man and I have wonderful memories of him and your family.
