Michael Vincent Francis, Jr., 90, of Weirton, WV, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Brightwood Center in Follansbee, WV.
Born August 22, 1926, in Uniontown, PA, he was a son of the late Michael D. and Pauline (Kubacka) Francis. He is also preceded in death by his brothers John and Joseph Francis.
Michael retired as owner of Pauline's Club in Weirton, which he originally ran with his mother.
He was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church.
He is survived by his nephews Richard Francis of Weirton, Tom (Sue) Francis of Akron, OH, and Gary Francis of Las Vegas, NV; nieces Linda Francis of FL, Paula (Harry) Brown of Weirton and Jean Cosindine of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
Visitation will be held Sunday 5-7 PM at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 AM Monday at Saint Paul Catholic Church. Reverend Father Larry W. Dorsch will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.

My condolences to Michael’s remaining family. I was one of his housekeepers at Brightwood and we became good friends. Michael was kind to me and I was holding his hand and praying when he passed away. I will miss him dearly. God bless you all. Cathy
I remember Michael & Pauline, especially on Saturday evenings when she was cooking in their apartment upstairs. Many times she brought us a sample of the tasty dish she was making. She must have thought we needed some food with the beverages we were already enjoying! God bless those 2 wonderful folks.
