Mildred Mary Johnson

Mildred Mary Johnson, 93, of Weirton died Saturday March 14, 2015, at the Serra Manor, in Weirton, WV. Born on July 19, 1921, in Cresson, PA, Mildred was a daughter of the late Charles and Cathrin Brant Conrad. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William D. Johnson, on July 9, 1988; a son, Barry Johnson, three brothers, John, Carl and Dan Conrad; four sisters, Mary Plazek, Josephine Gutwald, Nel Wheeler and Florence Jones; and a great grandson, Andrew Stithem. Mildred was a homemaker who enjoyed playing BINGO and an occasional slot machine. She was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons, William and Diane Johnson, W. Tom and Betty Johnson all of Weirton, WV and Ken and Jody Johnson of Poland, OH; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Tuesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main street Weirton, WV. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9 AM Wednesday at the Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Highland Hill Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church
