Miles Keith Cessna

Miles Keith Cessna, 83 of Weirton, died Friday February 8, 2002 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. Miles was born on November 21, 1918 in Shelocta, PA, the son of the late Franklin Roy and Edna Pearl (Kough) Cessna. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Mae (Anthony) Cessna on November 7, 2000, his son, Delbert Cessna, his twin brother Kenneth, his brothers Clyde and Virgie A., his sisters Velma Claypool and Rosie Elgin and two grandchildren. Miles was a truck driver for the Olen Burrage Trucking Company and self employed for many years before retiring in 1996. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Surviving, include, his four sons, Donald and David of Weirton,WV, Johnny F. of Bloomingdale, OH and Ronald F. of Steubenville, OH, his four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Jean) Clepper of Apollo, PA, Mrs. Fred(Phyllis) DeVaughn of Indiana, PA, Mrs Wallace (Patricia) Ingram of Jupiter, FL and Mrs. Edward (Deborah) Carter of Colliers, WV, his three brothers, Charles of Shelocta, PA, Merle of Warren, OH and Ward of Elyria, OH, his four sisters, Clarissa Meyer of Shelocta, PA, Laura June Carr and Mrs. Frank (Mildred) Albanese both of Baltimore, MD, Mrs. Arvil (Mary) Rose of Virginia, 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Additional visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 PM Tuesday at the Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home 238 Main Street Elderton, PA, where services will be held 11 AM Wednesday. Rev. Dale Hunter will officiate.
