Nasy E. Cortez

Nasy E. Cortez, 87, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday November 7, 2000 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born September 27, 1913 in Shinston, WV, the daughter of the late Antonio and Angeline Parrot Loria. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tony on September 8, 1980; four brothers, Joe and Frank Loria and John and Sullivan Larry; two sisters, Katherine Merico and Mary Frasketi. She was a homemaker and a member of the Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church. She also was a member of the E.T. Weir Senior Citizens She is survived by one son, Frank Cortez and his wife Darlene of Follansbee; one daughter, Kathleen Cortez of Weirton; one brother, James Loria of Fairmont, WV; one sister, Mrs. Emerick (Antoinette) Cerullo of Buckhannon, WV; three grandchildren, Debra Viducich of Rock Hill S.C, Frank Cortez, Jr. of Frisco, TX and Doug Cortez of Santa Barbara, CA; four great grandchildren. Calling hours are 2-4 & 7-9 PM Thursday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Friday, at the Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church. A prayer service will be held at 3:30 PM Thursday in the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Saint Paul Cemetery.
