Nicholas "Nick" Michael Mamula

Nicholas “Nick” Michael Mamula, 89, of Colliers, WV, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Select Specialty Hospital, Weirton. He was born December 7, 1936, in Weirton, the son of the late Robert “Bozo” and Anna Mergenovich Mamula. He was also preceded in death by the love of his life, wife Paula Jean Jacot Mamula on February 22, 2012, and sons J. Richard Mamula and Robert Nicholas Mamula, and former daughter-in-law Ronnie Mamula.

Nick retired from the Plant Security Department of the former Weirton Steel Corporation, was a Mason Past Master of Lodge 171 AF&AM Masonic Lodge and a member of the WSX 25-Year Club.

He is survived by his son John Paul Mamula and his wife Cindy of Colliers, WV; grandchildren, Jonathan M. Mamula, Joshua A. Mamula and his wife Courtney, Bobby Taylor and his wife Shayna, Kristal Taylor, Bryce Mott, Corey Mott; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Friday, October 2, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Weirton, WV, where the 11AM funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, with Rev. Gerald King officiating.

Masonic funeral rites followed by Entombment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.
