It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Marie Manley, who passed away peacefully on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Weirton Medical Center.
Born on October 24, 1952, in Weirton, Pamela was a beloved daughter of Eva Gill Weaver.
Pamela dedicated her life to making a difference in the lives of others. Through her work with the Head Start program and Human Services, she helped countless individuals find their way, always lending a hand to those in need. She graduated from Weir High School and furthered her education at WVNCC, pursuing her passion for service.
A proud mother and grandmother, Pamela’s heart was full of love for her family. She never met a stranger and was always quick to offer a helping hand to any child in need, whether it was for immediate support or a long-term endeavor. Her home was a refuge for those who needed it, and her kitchen was always open, filled with the warmth of her cooking and her kind spirit.
Pamela loved to read, the heartwarming stories of the Hallmark Channel and cherished family traditions, especially around her favorite holiday, Christmas.
Pamela also enjoyed traveling, with memorable trips to Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and Texas with her children to visit Six Flags.
Known for her selfless, non-judgmental nature, Pamela was a pillar of strength and compassion. Her love, warmth, and kindness legacy will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Pamela is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Mabel Gill, brother Terry Gill, and sister Celeste Goff.
Pamela is survived by her loving family, son Harry Joseph Manley, III, of Wellsburg, daughters Chrissy Ann Mullens of Westland, MI., Brandy Lynn Price of Woodstock, Il., and Jessica Danielle Manley, of Follansbee, sisters Willika Sue Smiar of Galloway, OH., and Mya Michele Gill of Weirton, grandchildren James Mullens, Isabella Licata, Nicholas Mullens, Mercedes Nance, Anthony Mullens, Ella Myers, and Cheyenne Nance, and so many friends who will deeply miss her gentle spirit and unwavering generosity.
Friends may visit with Pamela’s family on Monday, September 23, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV from 10 am until the time of her noon funeral service.
Burial will follow immediately at St. John Haven of Rest Cemetery, Colliers.
Pastor Rick Ford will conduct services.

She was a big part of my life in my youth been long time since I seen her but she was a grandma to my son’s she did more for them than anything I did
