Pasquale "Patsy" Rocchio, 87, of Weirton, WV passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022, at his home. Born May 20, 1934, in Gallo Matese, Italy, he was a son of the late Domenick and Madeline Rocchio. Patsy was also preceded in death by his wife, Concetta, brother Frank, sister Rose, and grandson Joshua Stalvey. Patsy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Patsy was a Weirton Steel employee for 20 yrs. He enjoyed building homes, gardening, spending time with family, making homemade wine and sopressa, sausage and taking his children and the neighborhood kids for truck rides back in the day, and his mad wood fire chopping skills. He was loved by his many nieces and nephews. Patsy is survived by his son Nick (Brenna) Rocchio of Bellaire, OH; his six daughters, Madeline Rocchio, Tina Rocchio and Teresa Sadler (Greg), all of Weirton, Domenica (Joseph) Stalvey of Edisto Island, SC, Toni (Mark) Colbert of Beaver, PA, and Francine (Scott) Moll of Amity, PA; grandchildren Kayla (Ben) Busbey, Nicholas (Brooke) Rocchio, Anthony (Andrea) Rocchio, Dallas Law (Jordan), Joseph and Seth (Alisha) Stalvey; 6 great-grandsons and 3 great-granddaughters; brother Pete (Paula) Rocchio of Weirton, and sisters Pasqua Assalone of New York and Maria Rocchio of Italy. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Friday at St. Joseph the Worker Church. V. Rev. Father Dennis R. Schuelkens, Jr. will officiate. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. Patsy’s request for cremation has been honored. Special thank you to Dr. Makar and his staff as well as Valley Hospice.   2. We had the best of times together, usually at a celebration of some sort. Now we come full circle and have to say goodbye or maybe just so long until it’s our time and we can all be together again!!! Hope and pray that the memories that we carry will sustain us until then. Our parents taught us that no matter what, family was by far what was most important and to love one another, I think we all learned that lesson very well, you are forever loved Uncle Patsy!!!!!
