Patricia Joan Wagner, 75, of Weirton passed Thursday, October 29, 2009 at her home. She was born March 11, 1934 in Buck Run, WV, the daughter of the late Okey Ernest and Cora Elizabeth Thomas Monroe. Her brothers Ernest and Roy Monroe, and sister Clara Virgil McCullough also preceded her in death. Patricia was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Weirton. She is survived by her husband Charles Edward Wagner of Weirton; daughter Terri Tobias and her husband Brett of Goshen, IN; sons Mark Wagner and his fiance' Patty Guiddy of Follansbee, Kevin Ray Wagner and his wife Stacy, and Don Wagner and his wife Pam all of Weirton; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be celebrated at 2:00 Saturday. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton, WV. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, Hancock County Unit, P. O. Box 2166, Weirton, WV 26062

I met Mr. Wagner for the first time recently and was very touched and inspired by the story that he shared with my husband and I about the love that he and Patricia shared with each other and God throughout their time together. I didnt meet Patricia, and yet she has touched my heart deeply. I will always treasure their story and keep the family in my prayers. God Bless!
