patricia komacko

Patricia L. (Cavrak) Komacko of Weirton passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. She was seventy-six years old.

She was born on December 4, 1946, in Braznell, Pa., a daughter to Ivan and Elizabeth Hudock Cavrak.

Patricia was a graduate of Frazier High School and obtained her MBA at Wheeling Jesuit University. She was a supervisor at Mountaineer Gas as well as a financial analyst with the Bayer and Orrick Corporations.

Patricia’s life revolved around her family as she was involved with many aspects of their lives.

She was a Roman Catholic, and a strong conservative who loved the USA!

Patricia enjoyed traveling to the beaches of Mexico. Her interests throughout her life were based around simple pleasures, taking care of her flower garden, reading a good book by James Patterson, or just tackling various “DIY” projects. She also stayed hands-on while building her first family home. Also, it was common for her to restore antiques into beautiful pieces.

Patricia will be sadly missed by her loving family, and they will carry forward all the lessons she taught them in life.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her infant brother Wayne Cavrak, and sister Barbara Ann Brown.

Left to cherish her memory with undying love is her son Randall Komacko of Canonsburg, PA. daughter Kimberly (Christopher) Bennett of Lancaster, OH. Grandsons Joshua Bowers, Joseph Bennett, Ryan Komacko, Brother Ivan (Lucille) Cavrak, close family members and friends who loved Patricia dearly.

Friends can visit with Patricia’s family on Sunday, November 5, from 1 pm 4 p.m. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street where Liturgy of the Word Services will be conducted on Monday, November 6, at 11 a.m.
