Patsy Cacase

Patsy Cacase, 82, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. He was born April 12, 1925 in Clarksburg, WV the son of the late Vincenzo and Theresa Borgese Cacase. His brother Guy Cacase also preceded him in death. Patsy moved to Weirton in 1940 and graduated from Weir High School in 1942. He started his own band called the Pat Case Band in which he played the drums. In 1945, Patsy and his brother, Jim, went into business together where they owned and operated the New Columbia Club in Weirton. Patsy retired in 1993. He was Catholic by faith and attended St Paul Catholic Church in Weirton, WV. Patsy is survived by two brothers, Fred of Weirton and Jim of Columbus, OH; his two sisters, Carmelina Prozzi of Pittsburgh, PA, Loretta Alfe of West Palm Beach, FL; his close friends Jackie L. Rowles of Weirton and Frank Harris of Steubenville, OH and several nieces and nephews. Final arrangements and burial at St. Paul Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
