Patsy Sellitti

Patsy "Pat" Sellitti, 76, of Weirton, died peacefully on November 16, 2010 at his home. He was born September 5, 1934 in Weirton, the son of the late John and Paulina Pirraglia Sellitti. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Donna Lee Sellitti, step-mother Giavonnia Sellitti and brothers Tony P. and John Sellitti.
Considered a prominent tri-state area masonry contractor and entrepreneur, Pat built over 600 homes in Weirton and surrounding areas. During his 50+ years of expertise in masonry contracting in which he was highly sought after for his creative and masterful craftsmanship, high quality of building construction and exceptional architectural skills, Pat built the Town House Motel and opened it in 1962. He also developed the Forest View Apartments in the early 1970's. Most important, Pat will be remembered and loved as the best Dad and greatest Pap.
Pat is survived by his former wife and friend Patricia Starr Sellitti; children Patsy K. (Pam) Sellitti of Pittsburgh, PA, Daniel J. Sellitti of Las Vegas, NV, Lynn Sellitti Bronowicz and Renee Sellitti both of Weirton. Pat was a proud grandfather of six beautiful grandchildren, Ashley Lynn Sellitti, Heather Haught and Brandon Bronowicz of Weirton, Gina Sellitti Stegall and Alyssa Sellitti of Pittsburgh and Daniel Patrick Sellitti of Las Vegas. He is also survived by two sisters, Pauline and Anna Sellitti both of New York.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 9:30 AM Friday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Dean Borgmeyer will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.

Family of Patsy, Went to Weir High with Patsy. The thing i remember most about him was that he always had a smile for everyone. His homes in Weirton will always stand for excellence. He was a great guy. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. sincerely, Jerry Hamill
One of our favorite memories of Patsy is when he attended my step-daughter’s wedding in Ft.Lauderdale. The whole family was excited to see him,especially Mom!!
The thing I remember most about my cousin Patsy was his beautiful smile… it would light up a room and your heart…he always seemed happy and made you happy when you were with him…may he rest in peace.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Patsy. He truly was one of the great builders in the city of Weirton. When I lived there I was proud to call Patsy a friend. We wish the best to the remaining family as they suffer the loss of Patsy.
Uncle Patsy always made me feel special, which was something in a family as large as ours!
