Paul A. Rujak

Paul A. Rujak, 81, of Weirton, died Thursday, December 13, 2001, at the Carriage Inn, Steubenville, OH. He was born on November 25, 1920 in Holiday’s Cove, Weirton, a son of the late Steve and Anna Bodnar Rujak. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Rujak in 1978; four brothers, Steve, John, Mike, and Albert; and one sister, Mary Agnes.
Paul retired from Weirton Steel’s Coke Plant where he worked as a motor inspector with 40 years of service. He was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club, VFW #2716, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, and the St. Paul Holy Name Society. He served his country in the Army during WWII in the Artillery Battalion.
Paul is survived by his wife, Sarah Pawelczyk Rujak of Weirton, whom he married October 25, 1952; two sons, Paul S. Rujak and his wife Patricia of Weirton, and Robert A. Rujak and his wife Debbie, of Colliers, WV; one brother, Andy Rujak of Weirton; two sisters, Ann Podeszwa and Margaret Rojak, both of Weirton; five grandsons and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be 7-9 PM Saturday and 1-3 and 7-9 PM Sunday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where a prayer service will be held 2:30 PM Sunday. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held 10 AM Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery where military services will be performed by the VFW #2716, American Legion Post 10, and Tri-State Marine Corps.
