Paul D. Stonebraker

Paul D. Stonebraker, 90, of Steubenville, OH died Monday January 23, 2006 at the Weirton Medical Center. Paul was born on September 2, 1915, in Steubenville, OH the son of the late Harry and Freda (Hout) Stonebraker. He was also preceded in death by his son Donald in 1989; his three brothers, John, Otis, and Dana; his three sisters, Pauline Irwin, Louise Mattern, and Elizabeth “Babe” Burns. Paul retired from Weirton Steel with 30 years of service, where he worked as an electrician on the 54 inch mill. He also was a self employed printer. Paul was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club, BPOE 1801, Order of the Moose Lodge 688, and the Eagles. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy M (DiStefano) Stonebraker of Weirton, WV; his three sons, Herbert Stonebraker of Steubenville, OH, Norman and Teresa Stonebraker of Weirton, and William and Brenda Stonebraker of Steubenville, OH; his daughter, Marilyn and William Crago of Weirton, WV; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday. Pastor Joshua Rhodes will preside.
