Paul Doboski

Paul Doboski, 84, of Weirton, died Thursday, January 15, 2004 at the Weirton Medical Center. He was born October 19, 1919 in Weirton, a son of the late Steve and Helen (Bozoka) Doboski. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ann Katherine (Salomon) Doboski on May 7, 2003, whom he married on January 17, 1948; three brothers, Steve, Andrew, and Ernie Doboski; and one sister, Helen Bartolovich. Paul retired with 33 years of service from Weirton Steel where he worked as a stocker in the Strip Mill. He was Lutheran by faith, a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club, and the V.F.W. #2716. Paul is survived by one son, Paul J. Doboski; one daughter, Margaret Potocnik and her husband John; one brother, George Doboski, all of Weirton; three grandchildren, John J. Potocnik of Wheeling, WV, Paul A. Potocnik and his wife Elizabeth of Weirton, and Heidi M. Potocnik of Weirton; and one great granddaughter, Haylie Potocnik. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday. Rev. Nathan T. Gragg will preside. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, 3432 West Street, Weirton, WV 26062.
