Paul L. Riddle

Paul L. Riddle, 80, of Burgettstown, PA, passed away Sunday, February 21 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born on June 10, 1929 in Parkersburg WV, Paul was the son of the late Ancil and Vallie Washburn Riddle. He was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Sowers Riddle, brother Bruce Riddle, two grandchildren Kevin & Christian Parlor and one great-grandchild Ethan Riddle.
Survived by children; Harry Parlor, Bryant (Carol) Riddle of Florence KY, Robert (Kerry) Parlor of Elkhorn NE, Lori (Joey) Fuller of Knoxville TN, Attie (Mike) Johnson of Okeana Oh. Grandchildren Michael, Mark & Matthew Riddle; Brendan, Kaitlin, Dylan, Jillian & Susann Parlor; Danielle & Amanda Fuller; Dalton, Alayna & Zander Johnson; Sisters Doris Sadler and Linda Heilman of Weirton; as well as beloved in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends.
Paul served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1952. He was devoted family man that worked at Weirton Steel in Plant Security from 1952 thru 1993. Paul loved to garden and do yard work around his home.
Paul was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Weirton and the Weirton Steel 25 year Club.
Visitation will be 4-8PM Tuesday Feb 23 at the Greco- Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday.
Reverend Chuck Jerman will preside.
Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton, WV.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in Paul's name.
To all of the Riddle family: What a pleasure growing up in the First United Church and knowing Paul. He was such a gentleman and family man. Never an unkind word to anyone. I am so glad I had the opportunity to engage in the many dinners, meetings; just any activity of our church. I will continue to pray for strength for all of the family and you have my deepest sympathy.

Dear Cousins, Aunt Doris, and Mom, We continue to keep all of you in our prayers. We loved Uncle Paul and enjoyed the visits when we made it home. A couple of my fondest memories are when he brought my mom, and a bed for me, to Ohio University and having my mom’s famous spaghetti dinner with him when I was heading back to Iraq. To The Family of Paul Riddle. I want to send my condolences and prayers to Paul’s family. I had the priviledge to have Paul as his home health nurse. He was such a kind,brave and loving person, When he spoke of his family he had such a glimmer in his eyes and a smile of his face, He spoke so highly and lovingly of his family. In the short time I got to know Paul it was a pleasure and priviledge,
