Paul, So sorry to hear of your father’s death. I hope his long life was happy and that you have a lot of good memories. I remember you and your sister from Edgewood School. You and I were in the same grade, 5th through 9th. I moved away right before 9th grade graduation. My sincere condolences, Naomi
My grandfather was such an admirable man. He touched the lives of so many through his kind acts and selfless deeds. His presence in my life and his kindness to my family was always such a blessing. His spirit will live on in our hearts. Pap pap – Until we meet again good Lester, you will remain loved, cherished, and admired in my heart, mind, & spirit all the days of my life and beyond. Bless your soul, Oh My Lord. Amen. Love you- Rachel
Paul”Les”Higgins,”Mr. Higgins”to me was our friend & neighbor for 53yrs.During high school he delivered our equipment to away games. After my Dad died he cut my mother’s grass, shoveled snow, and brought over the newspaper. Seemingly small gestures that said volumes about him as a caring human being. If anyone could be a permanent resident of Mr. Roger’s neighborhood, it would be him. Respectfully, Bill”Beezy”Orth, Edna & Karol

Dear Mrs. Higgins & family – I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Higgins. I loved that man and worked with him at Bond Mayflower and always thought he was someone special. I remember to how sometimes they treated him mean -especially the fist fight between him and Mr. Ward. I never forgot that. He was a wonderful and good man. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You do have my deepest sympathy. God Bless you. Sincerely Diana (Wyatt) Davis
