Paula Jean Mamula

Paula Jean Mamula, 72, of Colliers, WV, died Wednesday February 22, 2012, at the Life Line Hospital, Wintersville, OH, with her loving family by her side.. Born on May 2, 1939, Paula was a daughter of the late Paul R. and Anna W. Barker Jacot. She was also preceded in death by her two sons, J. Richard Mamula, and Robert Nicholas Mamula. Paula retired from Weight Watchers, where she was a receptionist for many years. She also owned and operated her own upholstering business. Most of all Paula will always be remembered as a kind and generous lady, always giving of herself. Paula is survived by her loving husband, Nicholas M. Mamula, whom she married on January 11, 1959; a son, John Paul Mamula (Ronnie) of Taylor, MI; her brother, Richard Ware of Georgia; her sister, Anna Thomas of Wintersville, OH; her grandchildren, Jonathon M. and Joshua A. Mamula, Bobby Taylor (Shayna Sabisch), and Kristal Taylor; great grandchildren Ema, Aiyden, and Olyvia Taylor; niece and nephews, Tracy Thomas, Harry (Pam) and John Charles Thomas; cousins, Dorothy, Ronald, Richard and Charlotte Mergen. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-9 PM Friday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday. Rev. Gene Sheppard will preside.
