Paula Marie Talbott (Dellefate), 78, of Weirton, passed away on September 18, 2026. She was born on August 31, 1948, in Weirton, a daughter of the late Jack and Pauline Dellefate
Paula was a lifelong resident of the Weirton area and spent many years working at Weirton Steel. Through the years, she built connections with many people. Paula cherished heartfelt conversations and enjoyed spending time with her friends, always appreciating the laughter, stories, and companionship that came from those relationships. She also shared a special bond with her son, Brock, and some of their favorite moments were spent watching scary movies together. Those evenings filled with suspense, laughter, and time together were among the many memories he will carry with him.
One of Paula’s favorite places to visit was Myrtle Beach. She treasured her time there and the many memories made along the shore. Whether at the beach, taking in the sights, or being surrounded by the people she cared for, Paula loved it entirely.
Above all, Paula was a loving mother who took great pride in her son, Brock. She will be remembered for the love she gave, the friendships she treasured, and the memories she created throughout her life.
Paula is survived by her loving son, Brock Talbott, who will forever carry her memory and the many lessons, stories, and moments they shared.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Pauline Dellefate, and her husband John Talbott.
Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and celebrate Paula’s life. A public viewing will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed immediately by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Both services will be held at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton, West Virginia. The family welcomes all who knew Paula to come together, share memories, offer support, and celebrate the remarkable life she lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center in Paula’s memory.

Brock, we are so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. We have very fond memories of you, your mom and dad and everything we did together. Your family were good neighbors and even better friends. I cherish the moments your mom and I would sit on the porch or driveway and share memories, talk about our families and life in general.
