Pauline Elizabeth Smith

Pauline Elizabeth Smith, 93, of Weirton, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. Born October 31, 1920 in Sutton, WV, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Iva Snyder Long. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer T. Smith; brothers Carlin, Gordon, Earl, and Allen Long; sister, Lucille Galligan; and step-brother, Ralph Wells.
Pauline was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers, and the K of C Auxiliary.
Pauline is survived by her sons, Homer T. Smith (Barbara)of Manasquan, NJ, David Lee Smith (Judy) of Bluffton, SC, and Patrick J. Smith (Donna) of Charleston, SC; daughters, Ellen Crain (Donald) of Rosswell, GA and Beth Fracasso (Enzo) of Weirton, WV; and 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 4-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 12:30 PM Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church with the Reverend Father Manuel Gelido officiating. Entombment will be in St. Paul Cemetery Mausoleum, Weirton, WV.
