Pauline Rigas

Pauline Rigas, 85 of Weirton died May 12, 2001 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born on March 20, 1916 in New York, NY, the daughter of the late Emmanuel and Antonia Papoutsis Petrides. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. George S. Rigas in 1957 and a sister Nikki Petrides Mollis. Pauline was an office assistant for Ray S. Greco MD and a homemaker. She was a member of the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, a former member of the church choir and the past president of the Philoptochos Society. Her two daughters, Mrs Naomi A. Loucas of Chester WV and Nikki L. and her husband Jaye Deitz of Diamond City, Arkansas, survive. Also surviving include her six grandchildren, Christina Loucas Mosca, Stephanie Loucas Greenholt, Paula Loucas, George D. Deitz, Jonathon A. Loucas, Alexander D. Deitz and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 Pm Monday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton. Tuesday from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM at the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church Weirton.
