Pearl G. Knox

Pearl G. Yoho Knox, 99, of Akron, OH, formerly of Weirton, WV, passed away October 5, 2014 at the Bath Manor Special Care in Akron, OH. Born January 19, 1915 in Wetzel County, WV, Pearl was a daughter of the late Frank and Birdie Hoyt Trader. Pearl was also preceded in death by her first husband, Otis Yoho and her second husband Harry Knox; son, Dewey Yoho; daughter, Elsie Calabrese; brother, John W. Trader; sisters, Velma Wilson, Olivia Fox, and Lucy Rush; and a grandson. Pearl was a homemaker and a member of the Colliers Church of God. Pearl is survived by her daughter, Claris Ellis of Akron, OH; brother, Frank Trader of Colliers, WV; sister, Mae Willoughby of New Martinsville, WV; 7 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pearl's family will receive friends Wednesday from 1PM until time of the 2:30PM funeral service at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Interment will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA.
