Perinda A. Smaltz Cromwell

Perinda A. Smaltz Cromwell, 82, of Brandon, FL, formerly of Weirton, died May 2, 2002, at her residence.
She was born on November 15, 1919, in Colliers, WV, the daughter of the late Benny and Ida Massimi Coletti.
Perinda was also preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Smaltz; her brothers, Orlando, Hugo and Rudy Coletti; her sisters, Inez Tallerico and Rita Coletti.
Perinda was a homemaker, and a retired supervisor at the Weirton General Hospital Central Supply. She was a member of the First Baptist Church on Homewood Avenue, Weirton; Southside Baptist Church in Brandon, FL; Chapter 147 Order of the Eastern Star and the VFW 2716 Women’s Auxilliary.
She is survived by, her husband, Reverend John Cromwell of Brandon, FL; her brother, Benny Coletti, of Chilhowie, VA; her two sisters, Aurora Hughes of Haines City, FL and Mrs. Andy (Eda) Fertal of Pittsburgh, PA.
Visitation will be 6-9 PM Tuesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday.
Pastor David Fink will preside
Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, WV.

Perinda made a great difference in our lives when she became part of our family. As her sister, Aurora, said Perinda is now walking the golded path while we are still on the yellow brick road. She will be missed more than she ever imagined.
