  15. To Mitchs Family, My deepest sympathy to you at this very sad time. I met Mitch when he became an ISU Steward to the Railroad Department. He was always so friendly, thoughtful and courteous and we shared a lot of conversations at the ISU Hall. He even helped my son move in and out of his apartment in Moon when he was attending college at Robert Morris. He wanted to be helpful to everyone. Whenever someone from the mill passed away, Mitch was always at the Union Hall making sure that the family received a Bible. We joked with him when he would come into the Hall and asked him who died today? I will miss him. I am so sorry for your loss.

He was very devoted to his job and one of the most devoted Union Stewards ever. He was always in the office doing whatever it tool to help the people he represented. I know he is at peace with his family that has gone before him. And if anyone deserves a ride with his idol–Earnhardt it is most definitely Mitch. He will be sadly missed.
