Robert C. Wilson, 82, of Weirton, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2006 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born June 13, 1923 in Weirton, he was the son of the late Harry and Emma Muldoon Wilson. He was also preceded in death by his brother George C. Wilson. With 38 years of service, Robert retired from National Steel where he worked as a General Foreman in the Electrical Department. He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, the WSX 25-Year Club, Williams Country Club, VFW 2716, Weirton Elks Lodge 1801, Disabled American Veterans and was a former member of Pleasant Valley Country Club. Robert’s survivors include his wife Betty M. (Dumbaugh) Wilson of Weirton; nieces, Kathryn Murren of New Jersey, Joyce Chernenko of Wellsburg, WV; nephew Jack Dumbaugh of Pittsburgh, PA; great nieces and nephews, Ryan Murren, Kylin Murren, Mari Dumbaugh and Julie Dumbaugh. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 16, 2006 from 10:00 to 11:00AM the time of memorial service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton WV.
