Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Family of Bob, He was a pillar of downtown Weirton for years. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sincerely, Jerry Hamill

  2. I have many happy memories of Mr. Zatezalo. Brent and I were inseparable in our teens and I spent many days at the Zatezalo home. Mr Zatezalo was always kind and giving and he instilled that trait into his children. He was a great man and a respected member of his community. He will always be remembered and loved.

  3. Our deepest condolences to the Zatezalo family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Rest in Peace and God Bless. Love Arisa, Jon, Casey and little Miley

  4. Dear Jay and Brent ~ my thoughts and prayers are with you both in the loss of your Dad. He was a very special man and I will always remember his kindness to the kids in the neighborhood. God bless ~ Kay Courtney Fenske

  5. Jay & Brent, I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad has been part of my “family” for as long as I can remember. I know my dad will miss him terribly. Please know that you will be in my prayers. Alison (Jezerski) and Dave Peleskey

  6. Please accept my condolences on the loss of your father. I still have many memories when your family lived across the street. Since I have the flu, I will be unable to attend the viewing or service.

  7. My dear Brent & Jay, My heart broke into pieces earlier when I learned of the sudden, unexpected death of your dear father, and I cannot imagine the depth of your sorrow. I wish I had words to comfort and sustain you in your grief, but I know there are none that will take away any pain you are feeling now. My heart aches for you, and my arms long to embrace you. Even my knees know your grief, as I have been on them in prayer for you. Although words seem futile now in the midst of your sorrow, they are all I have to give you. Please accept these written words as warm hugs to wrap yourself in, and know that I am holding you and your families in my heart at this sad and difficult time. With all my love, Guy & Kathy Severino

  8. Cousin Bobby was someone I always looked up to: a successful and respected businessman, a caring husband and father, and a kind and generous person whose unwavering optimism was an inspiration to me. I send my sincere condolences to Brent, Jay and Thomas and their families.

  9. Jay and Brent: I just found out this evening from Cousin Perry that your father had passed away. I will not be able to attend the funeral tomorrow morning; however, you will be in my prayers. Your father was a man among men. What I remember most about him, was, despite, his own physical situation, he always had a smile on his face and brought one to whomever he met. One of the highlights of my youth was when dad took me over to Weirton to see Bobby at Michael’s Jewelers (and he took me next door to Isaly’s, too!!). May Bob rest in peace. And may you rest in the fact that he was a pillar of the Weirton community through its greatest days. God bless you. Mel Pesuit 613 Avon Dr. Cambridge, OH 43725

  10. Jay and Brent, My deepest sympathy to you both on the passing of your Dad. Rest assured he is dancing with the angels now…… and we know who they are! Cindy

  11. To the Zatezalo Family, I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Bob. My brother Jan worked for him at Michael’s when he was in high school and has always spoken so highly of Bob all these years. Jan and I both send our condolences to all of you. God bless you all.

  12. To the Zatezalo family, Bob was one of the nicest businessmen in Weirton! He could always be counted on to help in community projects. He was a friend to our family and I have great memories of this delightful man. I am truly sorry to know of his passing.
