Robert William “Bobby” Marshall, 67, of Weirton, WV, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Allegheny General Hospital, after a recent diagnosis of cancer.
Born on July 21, 1957, in Weirton, he was one of three sons of the late James and June (Campbell) Marshall.
A member of the Brooke High School Class of 1975, Bobby devoted himself to his work at Weirton Steel, where he spent 30 years as a rigger and later as a Crane Inspector before retiring. His work ethic didn’t end there; he went on to serve as a meter reader for First Energy Corporation for eight more years.
Known for his handyman skills, Bobby could often be found tinkering in his garage, which doubled as his beloved man cave. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and family, and his generosity knew no bounds. An animal lover at heart, he shared a special bond with his two cats, Thor and Loki, and his dog, Neko.
Bobby was a member of the A.B.A.T.E and took great joy in riding his Shovelhead. Recently, he was a prospective member of the Cedar Lodge.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his two brothers, George and Jim Marshall, and his favorite dog, Neko
Bobby is remembered with love and admiration by his daughter, Alex Maguire, her husband, Lance, and their daughter, Sofia Catherine Maguire; his fiancée, Anne DiMaggio, and her daughter, Dr. Beth Anne Roberts, along with her husband, Jared, and their children, Lilianna Grace, Ariella Marlayna, and Marco Joseph Roberts; and his sister-in-law, Rose Marshall.

My sweet Uncle Bobby, I am so heart broken that you are gone! I know you are home with Grandma and Grandpa and your beloved big brothers! Y’all behave!!!
Play catch with my Nathaniel and until we are all together again know that you are so loved and have had my admiration and awe since your “bar-hopping” days!!!
Rest in peace Bobby. You were way too young!
I’m absolutely heart broken. Uncle Bobby was more more than just an uncle to me. He was only 5 years older than me,. It felt like he was my big brother. Daddy ( James Marshall) told me the story about when he was born. Both he and Uncle George were thrilled about it. We got in quite a bit of trouble together as youngsters. He was a very good man who loved his family very much. I’ll miss him very much
Chris and I are very sorry for the family’s loss. Unfortunately we will be out of town during the visitation day. We will be thinking of you. Cousin Mark Hicks
