Robin R. Underwood, 63, of Weirton, WV passed away very unexpectedly Friday, January 20, 2017, at his home.
Born June 3, 1953, in Steubenville, OH, he was a son of the late Perley E. and DeEtta Spencer Underwood. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, David Edward, Lawrence and Joseph Underwood.
Robin retired as a pipefitter from Weirton Steel after 30 years of service. He also worked in the Machine Shop and on the Super Sucker Crew around the mill. He was a member of National Rifle Association and Weirton Moose Lodge 688. In his free time he enjoyed relaxing in his pool, working around his and his daughter's home, caring for his cars, and watching the Steelers, WVU and Brooke Bruins.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Elaine Hruschak Underwood; daughter, Annette Stoneking (William "B.J.") of Weirton; brothers, Perley (Diane) Underwood, II of St. Clairsville, OH; sisters, DeAnna Riter of Alma, WV and Rosemary Stillson of Colliers, WV; Brothers and sisters in law, Joseph and Rita Hruschak, Jr., Cathy and Dr. Harold Henry, Mary Jo and George Barney, Janyce and Nabbe Underwood; several nieces, nephews and great nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held 2-6 Tuesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday. Entombment will follow in St. Paul's cemetery.
Rev. Eric Spencer will preside.

My Uncle Robin was an amazing man. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. I can remember when we were at my brothers memorial he just held me and told me that he loved me. Aunt Elaine and Annette I love you both very much. Uncle Rob you will be missed by many. Love Lindy

Dear Elaine and Annette – what a shock when I read the paper. I know what sickness is. Shared with you many times how our husbands suffered. But what a shock. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Elaine I am so sorry about your loss. I had no idea he was so ill,but Rose Marie called me about him. You are tough and you’ll get through this,but it will take time. You’ll be in my thoughts.
