Roger Lee Carroll, 68, of Follansbee, WV, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH. Born August 12, 1948, in New Martinsville, WV, he was a son of the late Ronald and Agnes (Lancaster) Carroll. He is also preceded in death by his brothers Gary and Frank Carroll and brother in law Donald Boyd. Roger retired as machinist from Continental/US Can. He also enjoyed working as a carpenter and mechanic. He served in the United States Army. Roger was an avid car and drag racing fan and also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, snowmobiling motocross and hunting. He was a member of the Americal Veterans Association, American Legion Post 10 in Weirton and Moose Lodge 1564 in Wellsburg, WV. He is survived by his wife Christine Corbin Carroll; daughters, Billie Jo Carroll (John Cox) and Justine Harbin, both of Weirton; sons, Travis Corbin of Colliers, WV and Luke Corbin of Follansbee, WV; grandchildren, Christopher and Cassidy Holloway, Madison Carroll, Lilly and Kennedy Harbin and Roman and Mia Orecchio; brother in laws, Timothy Boyd, who he thought of as a son, Rick and Joseph Boyd; sister in laws Betsy Stanley and Margaret "Sis" Boyd, Mona Davis and Kathy Hanson; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday 4-8 PM at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM.
