Hi Dad, Im happy you are with Jesus now. You and I know what your true wishes were, and no one can take that away. I know you did the best you could in this life, and I always wanted you. I know you loved me too. I guess there was a bigger plan that only God knows, so I completely trust in His wisdom. I wish things had been different for us, but they werent. I know God knew your heart as well as mine and really thats all that matters to me. You have a new life now, and I am so happy for you. Your daughter, Joy Your grandchildren, Jamie and T.J. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to meet Dave at Colonial Baptist Church and will always remember him for the wonderful testimony of his love for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and for the tremendous strength and faithfullness he had always shown as he walked with and trusted our Lord, both before and throughout the course of his illness. His testimony will continue to live on as a blessing to those who knew him and an encouragement for us all! I can just imagine our Heavenly Father saying to Dave, Well done, thou good and faithful servant. .
