Rose Gallias

Rose Gallias, 85, of Weirton passed away December 16, 2006, at the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Center in Steubenville, OH. She was born January 11, 1921, in Weirton, WV, the daughter of the late Nestor and Mary Stan Perva. Her husband Venzelos Gallias, brothers Samuel and Nicholas Perva and sister Theresa Visnic also preceded her in death. Rose was a homemaker, and a member of the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, and the church choir. She is survived by her two sons, Nick Gallias and his wife Rhonda of Weirton, and Jim Gallias and his wife Nancy of Chesapeake, VA;and her grand daughter, Jayme Gallias, of Weirton, WV. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV. A Trisagion service will be held Monday evening at 7:30PM in the funeral home. Additional visitation will be Tuesday 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM, at the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Weirton. The Reverend Father Frank A. Milanese will officiate. Entombment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton, WV.
