Rose Grossi, 88, of Weirton passed away at her home, on Friday January 31, 2014.
Born on November 25, 1925, in Weirton, WV, Rose was a daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine Sagan Paluch.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester P. Grossi, her daughter in law, Lisa Grossi, her brothers, Thaddeus Schodzinski and Henry Paluch; her sisters, Sister Mary Rita Schodzinski, Marie Pitchford, Stella Ruszkowski, and Bernice Pirro.
Rose was a homemaker, a member of Saint Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, and the ISDA Weirtonian Lodge.
She is survived by her children, Thomas (Rose Ann) and Monica; her grandchildren, Kathryn DeCaria (Joe) and Thomas Grossi; her love of her life, her little great granddaughter, Lisa DeCaria; her two sisters, Theresa Morando (Rocco) and Delores Bandish (John); several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be 2-7 Monday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday at Saint Paul's Roman Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Saint Paul's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Paul's Church or School 140 Walnut Street Weirton, WV 26062
