Rosemarie Katherine Plesich Freeman, 83, of Weirton, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016. Born August 18, 1932 in Weirton, WV, Rose was a daughter of the late John A. and Katherine (Tokorcheck) Plesich, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her beloved only son, William John Freeman. Rose was an active member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, involved with the counting of offertory collections and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Steubenville, OH. Rose had a gift for the written word, even being offered a full college scholarship long ago. Rose enjoyed traveling through the years to places such as England, Greek Islands, Switzerland, Nova Scotia and Alaska, as well as cruising the Mediterranean Sea and many trips to Massachusetts. Above all else, Rose enjoyed visiting her grandchildren, and kept smiles on all of their faces. We will never forget her sense of humor; it will live on in all of us.
