rosemary grubick
Rosemary Grubick, 85, of Weirton, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 at her home. Born July 17, 1923 in Weirton, she was the daughter of the late James P. and Celestine Sigward Reardon. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Before her marriage, Rosemary worked in the Accounting Department of Weirton Steel. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Rosemary was a graduate of Weir High School and from 19391943 was the WHS head majorette. Mrs. Grubick is survived by her husband Milan Grubick of Weirton; her children Mary Jane Thompson of Conneaut, OH, Michael J. Grubick and his wife Linda of Follansbee, WV, Thomas J. Grubick and his wife Patricia of Weirton, Diane M. Flynn of Weirton, Daniel C. Grubick of Phoenix, AZ and Roseann Gracie of Longmont, CO; brother James Robert Reardon of Weirton and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8 at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10AM Monday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Hancock County Unit, P. O. Box 2166, Weirton, WV 26062.
