Roy "Ray" L. Brown
June 24, 1944 ~ December 2, 2015
Roy "Ray" L. Brown , 71, of Colliers, WV, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at his home.
Born June 24, 1944, in Colliers, WV, he was a son of the late Herbert B. and Bertha L. (Reitter) Brown. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Benny and Donald Brown and sister Shirley Wright.
After 31 years of service, Ray retired as a millwright in the blast furnace from Weirton Steel. While working there he earned the Finger in the Dike Award for saving a mans life. He was an avid wood cutter, recycler and a jack of all trades. Ray was a United States disabled Marine.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn (Barnhart) Brown of Colliers, WV; son Steven (Stacey) Brown of Clinton, PA; grandson Nicholas Evan Brown of Hooverson Heights, WV; and brother David Brown.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home. Private services will be at the convenience of the family.

Wow sorry i just seen this…. I’m so sorry Marilyn and Stevie i wish i knew or seen this when it happened. I have so many good memories with ray at the store years ago. Im so sorry for your loss. So many stories and memories i wont forget
