  1. Family of Ruth, Sorry to hear of your loss. She was the Weir High Class sponsor of 1955 and I was president of the class then. What a wonderful teacher and friend.I actually taught with her later. I dont know of a class member or teacher that didnt like her. She will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sincerely, Jerry Hamill

  2. Ruth Dear, Our conversations…with depth, sincerity, general concern about the state of the world, our fellow man, and ourselves as well. We—you and I—decided that sisters can be sisters without being blood-related. I have been so happy to have had you as a part of my extended family, as my Sister. Be at peace. Rest well until I join you. Love, Helen M.

  3. We read of your loss in the local newspaper. We wanted to offer hope and encouragement, which we ourselves have found helpful in the death of close family members. Please be comforted to know that others are praying for you to have the strength to cope with your trial. May you find hope in the promised resurrection, “Your dead ones will live. … They will rise up.” (Isaiah 26:19) Jesus Christ himself said: “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”-John 5:28, 29. Confidence in the resurrection will help to ease your sorrow. As the Bible says, you will “not sorrow just as the rest also do who have no hope.” (1 Thessalonians 4:13) Rather, you will draw close to God in prayer, and the Bible promises “he himself will sustain you.”-Psalm 55:22. Please look up these scriptures in your copy of the Bible. Sincerely, The Davis Family
