Ryan Patrick Partee, Sr., a beloved son, brother, father and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at his home in Wellsville, Ohio. Born on February 4, 1985, in Stoughton, Massachusetts, Ryan’s vibrant spirit and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ryan was a dedicated and hardworking individual who found fulfillment in the simple pleasures of life. He was currently employed as a delivery driver at Pizza Hut, where his friendly demeanor and reliable service left a lasting impression on both colleagues and customers alike. Beyond his professional pursuits, Ryan was a true embodiment of compassion and generosity. He possessed an innate ability to extend a helping hand to those in need, embodying a caring and empathetic nature that endeared him to many.

An adventurer at heart, Ryan found solace and joy in the great outdoors. Whether he was engaged in construction projects, snowboarding down slopes, mastering tricks on his skateboard, or exploring nature through hiking, his enthusiasm for life knew no bounds. His love for outdoor activities was only surpassed by the radiant smile he wore when spending cherished moments with his children. The bond he shared with them was immeasurable, and his role as a father brought him unparalleled happiness.

Ryan’s affinity for the Ohio River was a testament to his free spirit. His leaps into its waters symbolized his fearless approach to life, mirroring his willingness to embrace new experiences without hesitation.

Growing up, Ryan shared an unbreakable bond with his brothers, Adam Gerard Partee and David Michael Partee. Their friendship was a source of strength and support throughout his life’s journey. Despite life’s challenges, Ryan’s resilient spirit shone through.

He was preceded in death by his beloved two-month-old daughter in 2007, a heartache that only deepened his compassion for others. He was also preceeded in death by his grandparents, Elizabeth and William Callahan, Gerard and Marie Partee and Gerard Maloney.

He will be remembered with love by his loving parents, Jean Desmond Pike and Richard Edward Pike of New Cumberland, WV; his girlfriend, Shannon McCarthy of Wellsville, OH; his sons, Ryan Patrick Partee, Jr. of New Cumberland, WV, and Sean Richard Partee of Wellsville, OH; his brothers, Adam Gerard Partee (Jo Anne) of North Attleborough, Massachusetts, and David Michael Partee of New Cumberland, WV; his sister, Dakota Pike of Rockland, Massachusetts; his grandmother, Beverley Maloney of Abington, Massachusetts; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

In celebrating Ryan’s life, let us remember his indomitable spirit, his zest for adventure, and his unwavering devotion to those he loved. As we mourn his untimely departure, may we also find solace in the cherished memories that remain etched in our hearts. Ryan Patrick Partee, Sr. will forever be remembered with deep love, fondness, and gratitude by all who had the privilege of sharing in his journey through life.

Friends and family will gather on Friday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV from 6 PM until 8 PM.
