Sally Taylor

Sally Taylor, 88 of Weirton, died Saturday, January 4, 2003 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born November 3, 1914 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Wed and Willey Ann Martin Watson. Her first husband Rev Elza Koster and her second husband Lawrence U. Taylor, her brothers, John, Louis, and Woodrow Watson, a sister Gladys Jones, two step sons Robert Koster and Robert Taylor also preceded her.
Sally worked as a cook at Mercy Hospital and the Masonic Home in Springfield, Ohio and was also a homemaker. She was a member of the Chapel Hill Wesleyan Church on Gilson Ave in Weirton, WV.
She is survived by her two step-sons, Rev. Marvin Taylor of Weirton, Ralph Koster of Springfield, OH, a brother Glen Watson of Flatwoods, Kentucky, two sisters, Lula Helton and Grace Frost both of Ashland, Kentucky and a niece Roberta Wiley of Springfield, Ohio. She has nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, January 6, 2003 from 7:00 PM to 8:30PM the time of a memorial service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV.
Additional visitation will be from 12 noon until time of service at 1:00PM at the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Springfield, OH. Interment will follow at Vale Cemetery in Springfield, OH.
