Salvador Joseph Trujillo
August 29, 1958 ~ February 14, 2022
Salvador Joseph Trujillo of Weirton passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022, after a prolonged illness at Brightwood Center in Follansbee. He was 63 years old.
He was born on August 29, 1958, in Weirton, the oldest of three children born to Salvador and Carole Connell Trujillo.
Sal was baptized and attended catechism at Saint Paul’s Roman Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Weir High and was previously employed at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel in the coke plant. Sal was a fan of the NFL and especially the Los Angeles Rams, he was excited that they were playing in Superbowl LVI.
Sal was preceded in death by his brother Manuel Anthony Trujillo, maternal grandparents, James and Josephine Bright Connell, and paternal grandparents Salvador and Juanita Garcia Trujillo.
Left to cherish Sal’s memory are his parents, Salvador and Carole Trujillo of Weirton and his sister, Lisa Marie Trujillo of San Diego, CA.
The family’s request for cremation has been honored. Respecting their wishes, no memorial service will be conducted.
Services have been provided to the family with the guidance of the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home. Weirton.
