Samuel G. Hardey

Samuel G “Babe” Hardey 63 of Johnstown, Pa passed away January 19, 2005 at the Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Pa. He was born February 17, 1941 in Weirton, WV, the son of the late Samuel and Mary Silvski Hardey. A brother William Hardey also preceded him. Samuel was self employed and was a graphic designer. He was a member of St. Andrews Russian Orthodox Church in Mingo, OH. Beloved husband and friend of 34 years, he is survived by his wife Karen Cuprik Hardey of Johnstown, Pa.; a brother John Hardey of Reston, VA; brother in laws, Rich Cuprik and his wife Linda, and Joe Cuprik and his wife Betty, both of Weirton, WV and sister in laws Paula Nutter of Wintersville, OH and Ann Chek of Weirton, WV and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, January 23, 2005 from 1-3 and 7-9 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV where services will be held Monday, 11:00AM in the funeral home. Interment will be at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, Ohio.
