Sandra Lee (Jones) Horvath, 65, of Weirton, passed away Monday, December 15, 2008 at the Trinity Medical Center West. Born October 5, 1943 in Steubenville, OH, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Gethal Davis Jones. She was also preceded in death by her companion Richard "Moose" Caleffe. Mrs. Horvath was a homemaker who lived with a deep passion for family, especially her grandchildren. She loved cooking and traveling and was an active participating member of the Salvation Army Home League. Sandra was a compassionate and dear friend to all who knew her. Mrs. Horvath is survived by her son Robert Horvath, Jr. (Horvy) and his wife Lora of Pittsburgh, PA; daughter Melissa Ann Evans and her husband Joseph of Pataskala, OH and two grandchildren Anna Horvath and Jack Evans. Friends will be received Thursday from 10 until the 11AM funeral services at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Captain Ed Long will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 238, Hurricane WV 25516.
