
Scott Clarence Riffee

Scott Clarence Riffee, 44, of Hillsboro Ohio, formerly of Weirton, died suddenly on April 6, at his home. He was born December 29, 1967 in Weirton, WV, the only son of Clarence H. Riffee and the late Betty Jean Kanai Riffee.
Scott is preceded in death by his mother Betty Riffee in 1995, grandparents William and Elizabeth Kanai, grandmother Marie Riffee, his favorite uncle William Waltz and cousin John Riffee from St. Louis, MO.
Scott was employed by Applied Mechanical Systems as an air condition specialist until the time of his death. Scott had a passion for dirt bike racing in which he participated with his son, John and close friends. He was a 1985 graduate of Weir High School moving to Ohio shortly after graduation.
Scott is survived by his only child, John Clarence Riffee of Hillsboro, OH and his beloved dog, Chloe; his four sisters, Karen Guglielmo and Sharon Cosenza both of Weirton, Brigette Waggoner of Hillsboro, OH and Melissa Stone of Pleasant Plain OH; nephew, Tyler Rodgers of West Liberty, WV; Aunts, Dorothy Waltz and Christine Lipke of Weirton, and a number of cousins from West Virginia, Missouri, Massachusetts, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas.
A private memorial will be held on April 10 at Turner & Son Funeral Home, 602 N High Street, Hillsboro, Ohio from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with services starting at 6:30 PM.

Clarence my heart just breaks at this news. My son is about Scott’s age and I don’t know how I could take it. We love you and share your sorrow. We have to remember in whom we put our trust.

To the Riffee Family, I don’t have to tell any of you how I knew Scott or about the fun times we had.. I’m sure you remember since I was at your house so much growing up. I hadn’t seen Scott for years now but I will never forget my older neighbor and my friend. I’m very sorry for your loss.
