  4. Rob and Shana, Please know that you are both in my thoughts and I am sending you the biggest hug that I can. I know that there is no real way to comfort you right now or any words that will make the pain less but I want you to know that your mother was on the top of my “favorite people” list. She always had the best hugs and no matter how long it had been between visits it was always like no time had passed. When we were growing up she was like a second mother to me and I loved her for that. Shari was a warm and loving person with a heart as big as the ocean. I am honored to have known her and to have been loved by her. I will never forget all the wonderful memories of time spent at your home with her and all of the fun times we had. I still to this day miss her bunny cakes! I love you both and wish that I could be there with you. Much love always, Michelle

  5. Dear Rob and Shanna, I was so shocked and saddened when I read about your Mom. She was such a wonderful, caring lady. It was a privilege to be able to call her “my friend” for so many years. I remember the first time I met her,we were planning a Fall Festival at Marland Heights School. Oh and making tissue flowers for our floats in the 4th of July Parades! That was the beginning of a long friendship. She will certainly be missed. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs and kisses to you all. Love, Vaughna and Rich

  9. I only knew Sherri briefly as my father-in-law’s cousin, but she immediately struck me as generous, vivacious, and caring. I only wish I could have gotten to know her better. She seemed like one-in-a-million. She will be missed.

  10. Rob and Shanna- I will always remember your mother as a kind and energetic person. I pray that your memories of her and the lives that she touched will carry you through this difficult time.

  12. Dear Rob & Shana: Please know that my prayers are with you on the death of your mother. I am in NV visiting family for 3 weeks and cannot be with you. I have only good memories of the times that I worked with her at Marland Heights School PTA. We were all very close and became very good friends. May God give you His peace and strength. Kathy

  13. I remember your mother from PTA and her work with the landmark committee. She was entertaining and had a regal bearing and I loved the way she dressed. She was always ready to fight for causes she believed in. I also remember the sparkle in her eye and also her homemade jelly. Yum-yum. My condolences to the family. I am sorry I could not make it to the funeral home. I was out of town at work on Friday.

  14. Rob and Shana, so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I will always remember her kindness to me while being neighbors and also the baked treats here and there. All of you were great neighbors to have. My prayers go out for you at this time.

  15. Rob and Shana, I’m very sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

  16. I am so sorry for your loss. Several years ago at a family reunion, your mother went out of her way to visit with me, we had a great time going over the past. When Bob and Loma lived above Halprens grocery store on Main street, me and my mother lived down the hall from them and I was Sharons babysitter, that was in the 50’s. Again so sorry for your loss. Joan (Poprik) Smith KC.MO

  17. Robbie and Shanna, I was very sad to hear of your loss and share your pain in this time of bereavement. Know that you are in my prayers this day. Gene Hutchison

  18. Rob and Shana My sincere condolences Your mother was certainly a special lady and she died much to young

  19. Dear Rob and Shana I just found out about your mom and was shocked. I can’t imagine the house without her in it–it must seem so vacant. Your mom was larger than life and she loved it that way. We will all miss her. It’s just a little less joyful without her. Take care of yourselves. Time will heal all wounds.
