shela karpinski
Shela Kay Karpinski, 52, of New Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born June 28, 1952 in Weirton, she was the daughter of Lora (Dennis) Lamp of Weirton and the late Donzel Lamp. Shela was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Weirton. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Theodore “Ted” Karpinski of New Cumberland; brothers Arland Lamp of Chester, WV, Tom Lamp of Wintersville, OH and Eddie Lamp of Logan, OH and sister Glenda Collett of Weirton. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted at 11AM Friday with Reverends Vaughn Davis and Dana Snodgrass presiding.
