Shirley Shepherd

Shirley Shepherd, 64, of Weirton, died Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at Kindred Hospital in Oakdale, PA. She was born on September 26, 1939 in Powhatan Point, OH, the daughter of the late Oscar and Nellie (Richmond) Fiest. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Hilda Brown, Maude Williamson, Opal Rice, and Edna Fiest; and one brother, Guy Wells. Shirley was a homemaker, Protestant by faith, and a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Floyd Shepherd, Jr. of Weirton, her cousins, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1PM with Rev. Marvin Taylor presiding.
