Stanley (Hank) Wyatt
September 4, 1935 ~ September 18, 2007
Stanley “Hank” Wyatt, 72, of Colliers, WV, formerly of Canton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Born September 4, 1935 in Jacksonburg, WV, he was the son of the late Alpheus Thomas and Ida Hennen Wyatt. Hank will now be reunited in the garden of love with his wife Shirley and brothers Robert, Carlin, Thomas and Rex Wyatt.
Hank was the owner of Hank’s Club in Weirton and was a trucker by trade, having retired from Weir-Cove Moving & Storage. Hank was very passionate about his family, playing music, pool and computers. He was a great pool player, musician, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be missed terribly.
He is survived by his companion, Opal Whear of Weirton and two sons, Mark (Diane) and David all of Canton, Ohio; six daughters Kathy Shaklee and Carol (Ken) Stinchcomb all of Carrollton, OH, Pam (Doug) Vanest of Malvern, OH, Babette (Pablo) Wyatt, Patricia Shankle and Tammy (Mickie) Sponaugle all of Weirton, extended family Randy Treherne and Brenda Mason, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be conducted at 1PM Saturday with Reverend Ron Rice officiating. Interment will be in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.

I never met Uncle Hank, but my Dad told me alot of stories about how he and Grampa’ would play music together. Although we’re far away and I don’t relly know Ya’ll yet, just want you to know our feelings and our prayers are with y’all, and we hope to meet you someday. All our Love, Christy.

I remember as a little girl the best grandpa any child could have. I didn’t know him much when I was older. But that loving giant hearted grandpa of mine was always there in my heart and always will be. I know I will see him in a better place. I love you grandpa.
